Swimming Pool Update
On Thursday, our pool operators came out to run some dye and pressure tests on various inlets and outlets around the pool. The result of this, believe it or not, has been somewhat positive. As we suspected, there is a leak, but the problem can be solved with some digging and pipe repairs. The repairs will begin this week, and hopefully shouldn’t take too long to be completed. We will keep you in the loop as much as we can regarding the re-opening of the pool.
This week we began live streaming some of our group exercise classes. Despite a few teething issues to begin with, the week was a great success. Lots of you managed to take part in various group exercise classes from your own homes. These zoom classes will continue for the foreseeable future, and in keeping with the previous week, the classes available to watch on zoom are highlighted in purple on the Group Exercise timetable which can be found on the website.
Increased Bookable Sessions
The College broke up for Christmas on Friday, meaning we are able to increase the number of bookable slots in both the gym, and the pool once then repairs are complete. The gym sessions are now active and can be booked either at reception, or on the app.
There is a lot going on around the club in the build up to Christmas, and plenty of opportunities for you to stay active and burn off a few of those extra calories that seem to creep up on a few of us this time of year.
Once again, thanks for reading, and please feel free to leave any comments or feedback below.
