Ingredients

2 cups of oats
1 orange
1 frozen or overripe banana
2 grated carrots
a handful of dried cranberries

 

Method

1) Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.


2) Make into golf ball size balls and pat down into flat biscuits. Place on silicone sheet on the baking tray and cook in a moderate oven for about 15-20 minutes.


3) All of the ingredients can be eaten raw so it’s not about “cooking” it’s more about getting the biscuits to hold together. Mine were a little crisp when first made but were nice and chewy the next day.

For a more chocolate flavour add more nibs or add some cacao powder. For more orange flavour add plenty of orange zest.
