The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of the cleaning team and the cleaning standards in the College and Health and Fitness club, whilst on shift. The post holder will be responsible identifying areas that need cleaning on top of the cleaning schedule already in place. This post holder will liaise directly with the duty manager before the shift starts to ensure that any issues raised are quickly resolved.

To succeed, you will need to be reasonably physically fit, have proven experience in a cleaning role and be familiar with COSHH in an educational setting and Health & Safety at work in general. You will also need awareness of Safeguarding requirements and good practice within an educational setting. A well-developed understanding of the English language is important too, as is flexibility over working hours, standard working 4 days on and 3 days off 18:00 – 02:00. Smart and professional in appearance, you will be comfortable working alone without direction, have excellent attention to detail and remain calm under pressure.
