Small Outdoor Group Exercise

In the interim period, we have put together a range of small group exercise classes that will take place outdoors, weather permitting. The cost of each class will be £5:00. We will be going cashless for these classes and for when we reopen, so card payment only is preferable, please. Classes can be booked seven days in advance as before. We appreciate that there is only a short window to book before these classes commence on Monday 6th July. Please click here to see which classes will be on offer.

Outdoor Tennis Courts

We are very pleased to announce that we have opened our outdoor tennis courts. These will be available Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 and will be used in line with LTA COVID-19 guidelines. Bookings are to be made over the phone (reception hours 08:30 – 16:30) and the court fee is £10 per court hourly. As per our regular booking policy, courts can be booked 7 days in advance. Memberships are still frozen and will remain so until further notice.The College is still in a tight lockdown status therefore access will be restricted to members car park side only. The gates will be closed, please park on that side. The pedestrian gate will be manned by a member of staff to allow members through.

This communique addresses our upcoming outdoor classes we will shortly be offering and will provide an update on our existing tennis court bookings. Your Concerns

Cleaning

We are currently reviewing and upgrading our cleaning procedures and policies in light of new guidelines. There will be more details to follow in due course.

Social Distancing

We will be introducing new systems of work and reviewing our programme of activities, to allow for the impact of social distancing. More detail will follow.

Hygiene

We will improve cleaning procedures and continue the use of hand-gel dispensers around the club and ensuring that frequent hand cleaning can take place.
 

Our New Way Forward

 
  As soon as guidance is provided by the Government, Public Health England etc. we as Wellington will start to refine our reopening plans. We also recognise that and know that what we say and do now, will not necessarily be what we do and say in the following weeks and months due to the changing landscape of this situation.
We will detail in this area our reopening plans over the coming weeks and update you.
