From laid-back sessions like yoga through to the intense new craze of X-Biking, Wellington Health & Fitness Club offers a range of classes for all abilities – and we’re sure to have the perfect way to help you boost your fitness and energy levels in a fun, friendly environment.
Unlike courses, which are pre-paid and run for a set period, our classes are bookable one week at a time. However, as a member you can book your place on each class seven days in advance at Reception.
Wellington Health & Fitness Club has almost 60 classes a week, including:
New at the Club Boxercise starting April 16
Boxercise: Boxercise your way to fitness with this fun, energetic class. Using both aerobic exercise and physical strength to enhance your fitness as well as improve you hand eye coordination, balance and timing. A great way to enjoy boxing without getting hit.
Bellicon Rebounding: Bounce your way to fitness with your own mini trampoline. A fun workout for all those that seek a different form of fitness.
Bellicon Balance This class will incorporate cardio vascular exercise and Pilates derived exercises to help improve co-ordination and balance.
Bellicon Bounce / Fitball A class to improve cardio fitness and aid improving core stability.
Bellicon Blast A high energy cardio vascular class with conditioning exercises using free weights
Bellicon Body Blitz Whole body work out with cardio vascular exercise and body conditioning.
Bellicon Box Fest A high energy fitness class combining cardio vascular exercise with boxing moves.
Circuits: These are available as adults, ladies-only and Invincibles 50+ sessions, and take place in the Total Body Gym. They utilise both the Cardio vascular and Keiser resistance training equipment to provide a good all-round workout.
Extreme circuits: Held in the main hall, extreme circuits is a fun-packed workout using a variety of equipment.
Zumba: A fusion of latin dance and exercise put together in an exciting, fast-paced class.
Aquafit: Meet in the pool for a low impact/high intensity but truly fun workout. Individuals must have a degree of confidence in water. Suitable for beginners.

Pilates: With a slow and, at times, relaxing pace, Pilates uses your inner core strength to improve posture and shape. Beginners classes and Pilates courses are available.
Aerobics: Traditional, choreographed classes to raise your heart rate and burn calories. Suitable for all fitness levels.
X-Biking: An intense workout on a stationary Trixter bike, with up-to-date tunes and choreographed routines.
Fitball: Improve your core strength and stability using the fitball. Beginners are advised to book one-to-one sessions in the gym.
Step: A traditional class on two levels; suitable for all levels. Set to funky tunes.
Body Jam: A total body workout that gives you the chance to polish your dance floor moves. Choreographed moves with inspiring music.
Legs, Tums and Bums: All three body areas worked to excess in this conditioning class, followed by a long stretch at the end to improve your flexibility.
Body Pump: Resistance weight training set to music. This will change your body shape, making you lean and strong. Suitable for any fitness level; induction classes are available.
Body Balance: Approaches the mind and body in order to achieve overall fitness. Improve flexibility and mobility, correct postural imbalances and promote relaxation. Suitable for any fitness level.
